Delete your OutPath account

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can do it in the app or right here in your browser.

In the app

Open OutPath and go to your Profile.
Open Settings and scroll to the very bottom.
Choose Delete account and confirm.

No password, or forgot it?

If you signed up with Google or with an emailed sign-in link, you may never have set a password. If you have none, or yours does not work, set one in the app with “Forgot your password?”, delete the account in the app, or write to us from the address the account uses. We will delete it and confirm within 30 days.

Delete some data, keep your account

You do not have to delete the whole account to get rid of something. In the app:

A photo: open it, choose Delete post. The photo file, its caption, comments and likes are removed from the server at once.
A saved activity: open it in your Profile and choose Delete. The route and its statistics are gone for good.
An offline map region: Settings, Offline maps, Delete. The region only lives on your phone. Deleting the free region uses up the free allowance; the app warns you first.
Anything else, such as a single comment, a place rating or your visit history: write to us from your account's address and we will remove it within 30 days.

Deleted data may survive in database backups for up to 30 days, then it is overwritten.

What remains after deletion

Your Google Play subscription, which lives in your Google account. Cancel it separately.
Payment records, which Google keeps for as long as tax law requires.
Our accounting records: the codes your account has applied, the confirmations of purchases made with a code and the subscription events. They remain for as long as accounting and tax law requires, no longer linked to your profile or email address (privacy policy, How long we keep data).
Places that grew from your photos, with no link to you.
